Sam Goodchild on Team Concise forced to retire from the Transat Jacques Vabre 08 - 11 - 11
In a hugely disappointing twist of fate this morning Sam Goodchild and Ned Collier-Wakefield were forced to retire from the 10th edition of the biennial Transat Jacques Vabre.
Pip Hare 17th overall in the 2011 Charente-Maritime/Bahia Transat 6.50 Series Class 08 - 11 - 11
The Mini-Transat, as this race is more popularly known, saw Artemis Offshore Academy Associate member and first-time Mini-Transat sailor Pip Hare arrive into the windy Brazilian port of Bahia having achieved her goal of finishing in the top 15 of the Series class for leg two.
