Spectacular Figaro Finish in Les Sables D’Olonne for Leg 3 of the Solitaire du Figaro 17 - 08 - 11

The third leg of the Solitaire du Figaro, 475-miles from Dun Laoghaire to Les Sables d’Olonne concluded this morning with French sailor and leg 2 winner, Jeremie Beyou winning the leg in 2 days, 20 hours, 39 minutes and 20 seconds.

Phil Sharp Leads The ‘Rookie’ Fleet 16 - 08 - 11

Phil Sharp is currently in seventh place as well as leading the ‘Rookie’ fleet in leg 3 from Dun Laoghaire to Les Sables D’Olonne.

Pip Hare 17th overall in the 2011 Charente-Maritime/Bahia Transat 6.50 Series Class

The Mini-Transat, as this race is more popularly known, saw Artemis Offshore Academy Associate member and first-time Mini-Transat sailor Pip Hare arrive into the windy Brazilian port of Bahia having achieved her goal of finishing in the top 15 of the Series class for leg two.
