A long range game of piggy in the middle… 10 - 05 - 12 at 09:17:50
“Tactically, we are currently playing a long range game of piggy in the middle with Recycleurs Bretons and Port de Peche to our North and Sepalumic and Gaes to our South. The first challenge is to decide who is ahead of who and then how to get there as quickly as possible. If we made a jump on either pair of boats it would be tempting to try and work into a position directly in front of them and ‘bank the gain’. This is a tough call to make though as our two weather models can’t agree which route is going to be fastest which means for the moment we will continue forging our own path in the hope of eking out a tiny lead over both groups.” Read Nick Cherry’s full report here...
